Project Summary
This project nestled in Buckinghamshire was an exciting transformative construction project managed and delivered by WE. The estate included multiple projects all happening at once but at the heart of all this change was the creation of the Manor House, an incredible residence 1700 square meters high spec’ed residential establishment. Previously built in the Victorian era, the house held on to its heritage with the design and visualisation however infused the latest smart home systems and technology ensuring the client was promised the epitome of luxury living.
The project was a blend of old and new, with 75% of the Manor undergoing a complete rebuild while the remaining 25% received a thoughtful renovation. Original features like the library and the elegant formal living room were lovingly restored, adding a touch of history to the modern design. What made this project truly unique was the client’s input, which evolved as construction progressed, making each day on site both thrilling and challenging.
As mentioned above the challenges did not stop there, the estate included other construction projected which in themselves were tough. A quaint 250-year-old piggery was transformed into a charming pub. Adjacent to the pub, a stunning pool was installed, requiring some impressive crane work. Complete with a deluxe sauna, steam room, and top-notch ablution facilities, the pool area offered a slice of paradise hidden from view. Linking all of this together was an old violin factory that was converted into a car museum and office for the client proving the estate’s versatility and functionality.
In summary, the Bucks Project was a testament to creativity, craftsmanship, and vision.
