Project Summary

We recently completed the transformation of a three-bedroom ground floor and basement apartment within a detached property in the heart of St Albans. Designed in collaboration with SADA Architects, the project focused on enhancing both the functionality and luxury appeal of the home through a full refurbishment and a series of structural alterations.

The centrepiece of the apartment is a beautifully crafted open-plan living and kitchen space, showcasing the original cornice architectural ceiling – a striking detail that blends historic character with modern design. High-quality finishes were carefully selected throughout, elevating the interiors to the standard expected of a contemporary luxury home.

The works included a complete overhaul of the mechanical and electrical systems, as well as full internal and external redecoration. Externally, the courtyard was redesigned with new landscaping, creating a private and stylish outdoor retreat. A bespoke new kitchen and upgraded detailing across every room brought the scheme together, ensuring a seamless balance of practicality and refinement.

The result is a thoughtfully reimagined apartment that combines timeless architectural features with modern elegance, delivering a home of exceptional quality in one of St Albans’ most desirable locations.
